tell us a bit about you and where you are from?

My name is Jing. Born in China and living in Germany in a small town since 1991.

how and when did you get interested in photography?

I liked photography when I still was a kid. I saw photographs in magazine. But did not begin to take photos until 2007, when I did a photo-walk with a colleague.

which photographers do you like and follow?

There a lot of photographers on the world. There is no one special I like more than others. The photographers who I follow are mostly non-pros. They are also very good photographers - undetected talents ;)

your favorite photobloggers?

fotologs.cn - unfortunately , not updated at regular intervals.

what kind of equipment do you use?

I am using a Canon 7D with some prime lenses. Mostly I am using the Canon with the Sigma 30mm 1.4.

do you have any formal training?

My only hands-on training is learning by doing :) No workshops or so.

do you use software to touch up photos? what do you use?

Yes, I do post-processing for my photos and I use Adobe Photoshop.

what's your favorite photo that you have taken? urls? what kind of pictures do you love to take?

I like to take pictures with strong colour-contrast, minimalistic photos and urban objects and live.

where do you want to take your photography? publishing a book?

No planning at the moment ;)
